Client: - Market Minds International (Singapore)
Duration: - 25 Minutes

Components: - Image composting, extensive authoring, ODBC connectivity, etc..

Summary: - We were contracted by Market Minds International to develop a multimedia CBT for Citibank AP-IPD-CEEMEA certification. This certification program was traditionally restricted to paper based examination and review. This amounted to a lot of paper work, checking by the examiners and the time taken to conduct the whole exercise. The CBT allowed the whole exercise to be fitted onto a CD-ROM and packaged for easy transportability and convenience. Organized into various topics the examination could be installed on a server and a group of executives could use it at the same time. The candidates would answer objective type questions and their answers would be evaluated and stored in a database immediately. The whole presentation was authored extensively in Authorware and I played the lead role in the authoring exercise. The development also required me to be available at the clients site in Singapore for any pre installation modifications.  Completed in 144 man hours the project is presently in its second stage of development.

Computer Based Training tool for Standard Chartered Bank
Client: - Market Minds International (Singapore)
Duration: - 35 Minutes

Components: - 3D Graphics, Image composting, extensive authoring, ODBC connectivity, etc..

Summary: - Fuelled by the need for easy access to information for their clients and their employees, Standard Chartered Bank asked us to develop a game cum CBT tool which could be used to impart training, act as an information kiosk and be used to check employee knowledge level. Designed initially for the Deposits division, the presentation was a CBT and game rolled into one. The information was provided in a crosslinked/hyperlinked manner to provide the users with easy access to all sections of the tool. A search function was embeded to allow the user to search for any particular term or phrase. To test the users knowledge a game on deposits was designed. Keeping a lighter vein in mind the interface and dialogs were kept very casual and informal. The users were rewarded with money everytime they answered any thing right and the same was deducted for a wrong answer. In the background the performance levels were staored on the harddisk so that the results could be later monitored and checked for performance lapses.

The total development of the tool took 400 man hours to complete. I was totally incharge of this project and played the led role in the concept design and authoring of the tool.
